Hey Josh - For legal reasons we can't read your script (or even your creative idea) until we have a signed release. This protects both of us. As well, remember that when you post your idea on any blog, everyone in the world can read it - so you need to decide if that's what you want to do. For us to read your material, go to www.pitchnehst.com and submit it.

Jeff, great blog post.

My dream of being a producer/director started when I was a young man, recently being discharged from the military at age 22...Now that I own my own production house it still seems just as far away. Yeah, I'm producing the occasional funny TV spot and drawn out training video but I want more.

Well, just this week I wrote my first script, a 24 page short. Here comes the pitch... "When a man sees his children from a far and has no way to reach out and seemingly touch their delicate skin its torture. Patrick, a family man has been exiled from his own home after a long battle with depression, suicide attempts and the sounds of voices rushing through his head. Tormented day and night, forced to make a decision to silence the voices in his mind, Patrick must choose to kill himself or find salvation from his insanity... or what the few are not afraid to call demonic oppression. Not realizing the forces that surround us millions of sane people are thrown away, powerless into mental wards where many are given "sleepy" pills and endless hours of psychiatric counseling. But the power to cure Patrick will only come through his faith to believe in the devil...and ultimately God's salvation.

Also while you are in town (Cincy, Ohio) shooting "Over the Wall" please consider our company for any behind the scenes video recording.
